What Dr. Kiran Lohia Says about deodorants

To make it very clear we reached Dr. Kiran Lohia. She says, many ladies have asked this question, are deodorants safe or they cause cancer. Deodorants are packed in aluminum coating bottles which are more likely to increase the risk of breast cancer by affecting estrogen hormone. However, it is not proved in studies yet.

But yes, this aluminum can be risky if you apply deodorants immediately after shaving or waxing. Apart from aluminum, the factor is paraben that contains risk too. Paraben usually causes estrogen stimulation, which increases the risk of breast cancer, Dr. Kiran says.

She added further, the studied have not revealed the link between paraben and breast cancer.

However, I advise to everyone they can use deodorants which are free from aluminum and paraben.
